by sam on 10/31/2009In my neighborhood, the 69th Street block association has, hands down, the best halloween setup. The entire street shuts down, almost every building turns into a giant halloween exhibit with one house trying to outdo the next. Animatronic spiders, star wars characters actually rappelling down the sides of brownstones, haunted houses, and just tons of people. So instead of dealing with the chaos of the village halloween parade, I decided to head just a few blocks away to take some pics. First, of course, being my favorite costume of the day, and one that only makes sense in NY.
