very simple

I’m trying to blame it on Friday the 13th at this point, but this whole week has just been completely bizarre. Things that were out of my control just kept going wrong this week (can’t go into too much detail, it’s mostly work-related). prospectuses that somehow got changed at the printer after we signed off on final proofs, messengers who didn’t follow instructions, and people just generally forgetting things. Instead of doing anything productive, I spent at least 3 mornings this week cleaning up after people. And really, with a deal closing today and another one on Tuesday, and an investor-relations conference that I’m writing a presentation for on Wednesday, I certainly don’t need extra complications…
