{"id":1432,"date":"2008-09-29T07:30:38","date_gmt":"2008-09-29T12:30:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.very-simple.com\/blog\/?p=1432"},"modified":"2013-01-26T22:21:51","modified_gmt":"2013-01-27T03:21:51","slug":"happy-new-year-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.very-simple.com\/blog\/2008\/09\/29\/happy-new-year-4\/","title":{"rendered":"happy new year!"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px;\" class=\"sharethis-inline-share-buttons\" ><\/div><p>it&#8217;s that time of year again.  the time when I get to annoy everyone at work by taking off two days in the middle of the week leaving everyone else to take care of things.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.very-simple.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/rosh_3.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1433\" title=\"rosh_3\" src=\"http:\/\/www.very-simple.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/rosh_3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"425\" height=\"237\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.very-simple.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/rosh_3.jpg 425w, http:\/\/www.very-simple.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/09\/rosh_3-300x167.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 425px) 100vw, 425px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This Rosh Hashona, instead of sitting in temple all day, I&#8217;ll be taking my bicycle in to get fixed.\u00a0 Because after visiting a friend yesterday afternoon who lives up in Washington Heights, I managed to get a massively flat tire.\u00a0 And\u00a0 yes, I know how to fix a flat tire, but it was damn near impossible to separate the tire from the tubing, so it became easier after about 20 minutes of trying just to carry my bike onto the subway.\u00a0 it wouldn&#8217;t be that big a deal if I wasn&#8217;t scheduled to do 60+ miles in the <a href=\"http:\/\/msnyc.kintera.org\/bikems\/sdow1\">MS bike ride<\/a> this weekend.\u00a0 Seems kind of important to have my good bike for that sort of thing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>it&#8217;s that time of year again. the time when I get to annoy everyone at work by taking off two days in the middle of the week leaving everyone else to take care of things.
