At this pace, I&#8217;m so not going to finish the 50 book challenge this year (as I have never finished it).  Does reading SEC releases count?<\/p>\n<p>So&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>I enjoyed it (I know a few people who didn&#8217;t).  It was too long in a few places &#8211; there were certain sections that I probably wouldn&#8217;t have noticed if they hadn&#8217;t been there, but I&#8217;m always a fan of Rashomon-like storytelling.  Here you get the story from the Witch&#8217;s point of view.  The Wizard is a despot, the Witch a freedom fighter, Glinda is actually her best friend (and college roommate), and it still makes perfect sense.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>First book of 2006 finished!
